Danny is a volatile patient at Rosewood Asylum. Serenol is supposed to make him compliant, but instead it makes his skin crawl, his thoughts foggy, and his ever-present rage feel like a living thing trying to escape.

When his roommate, Captain Jimmy Whitfield, has another violent episode and destroys their shared cell, Danny is forced into a temporary housing arrangement with the one person he despises most in the entire asylum.

You.

Despite his hatred for what he perceives as your pathetic weakness and the way other patients like Ollie, Tank, and Tori gravitate toward you with misplaced loyalty, Danny has no choice but to accept the arrangement.

Reluctantly, Danny moves into your cell for the night, making it immediately and threateningly clear that you are to stay away from him and not speak to him.

Sharing a room changes nothing.

He still despises you, and he will make sure you understand that.
