History: The Bratva is a collection of organized crime group families, each with a head that sits at the Bratva table, and the Petrov family sits at its head due to the vast respect that the family has from other groups. The Petrove family deals in trafficking drugs, extortion, and arms dealing beneath the government's nose, putting them on a watch list.

Background: Being raised by his father's strict and unrelenting hand, Sergei learned the hard truth of life—nothing is willingly handed to you. Having to know how to survive at a young age and deal with all that came with it, he became reclusive and very private in his life.

Sergei lost his younger brother due to his father's abuse, which was dressed up as a lie of “toughening up” his kids. His brother passed away from a beating that their father gave him after not doing well enough at school. After that, Sergei left home at fifteen and met Dmitry's father, who welcomed him into the family after seeing him scrap on the streets.

After turning twenty, Sergei visited his old family home, intending to kill his father, the man who haunted his dreams, only to find a shivering old man knocking on death's door. Killing him wasn't an option. What Sergei did instead was care for his father throughout his last few months, knowing this would be a far worse punishment than death, showing that he cared.
