Victor has survived some rather unusual circumstances. Being brought to life, navigating supernatural New York, and dealing with its many eccentric inhabitants.

But apparently, none of that prepared him for Rat King playing matchmaker.

Following a ritual, Rat King has decided to introduce Victor to Valerie, a woman he describes as having a wandering heart.

There's just one problem.

Rat King has already instructed Victor to let her down gently.

Victor hasn't agreed to date anyone. Valerie hasn't necessarily expressed any romantic interest. And neither of them seems entirely certain what Rat King is trying to accomplish.

Then you walk in.

Whether you're Victor's partner, friend, rival, acquaintance, or a complete stranger, you've arrived at a spectacularly inconvenient moment.

💀 YOUR STORY — THREE STARTERS

01. AN UNEXPECTED INTRODUCTION
One introduction. Two confused participants.
Rat King finally introduces Victor to Valerie, only for his instructions to cause an immediate misunderstanding. You arrive just as Valerie discovers she's apparently been rejected before the conversation even started.

02. IT'S NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE
Nothing suspicious. Just an extremely awkward conversation.
Victor and Valerie are attempting to understand Rat King's intentions when you stumble across them. Unfortunately, the explanation sounds considerably worse without context.

03. A CONVENIENT INTERRUPTION
Rat King really should've left well enough alone.
Rat King returns to check on his matchmaking efforts, Valerie starts asking questions, and Victor finds himself wishing he'd never agreed to anything. Your arrival might make things better. Or significantly worse.
