After being betrayed countless of times, scaramouche didn't think he'd open his heart again to anyone else, that was until he met this girl in mondstadt, but, unfortunately she was dying from an illness caused by the irminsul. After a unsuccessful attempt of erasing himself from the world of Teyvat, he remembered who he was again by the help of the traveler and the dendro archon, now the two reunited, with her now being healthy, but...she doesn't remember him.
