After some extensive testing, I've switched to using MiMo-V2.5-Pro through openrouter. It's similarly priced as GLM 5, but is far better. Faster. The amusing bit is, the first free model I used through a proxy was MiMo. And now here I find myself paying for it. But gladly doing so.

GLM 4.7 is wonderful with angst, slow-burn, and dead dove. But is also obscenely slow. Like, old school JLLM slow. Like, over a minute wait for a reply slow.

GLM 5 I thought was great back then. But that was because I was so used to lower response standards from JLLM. Now? It's horrible when remembering things like attire, age, height...things it should know. It handled storytelling well though. And was good with NPCs. But I got fed up with the constant mistakes and having to OOC things so much.

GLM 5.2 was something else. Faster than 4.7 and 5.0, more expensive too. But dear God. I couldn't go one chat / RP session without it losing it's shit and spouting enormous, gigantic walls of gibberish and Chinese stuff. I couldn't deal with it anymore.

So yeah, now I'm using MiMo-V2.5-Pro. For the price? Far better than at least GLM 5. It handles things very well, though isn't as good as GLM 4.7 with darker themes. It'll also occasionally tell me it can't generate a response because it's high rish where NSFW or violence is involved. Just a hallucination, I think. I just delete it, and paste my previous message and it goes right back to normal. For those that have used, still use, are planning on using any of the 3 GLM models... I highly recommend you use MiMo instead.
