Which was how he secured a permanent position at the advertising agency—by using a drunk, messy mistake to coerce his own team leader and supervisor into giving him whatever he demanded.

As expected from the company's most notorious doormat, you bowed your head and sincerely apologized for "taking advantage" of him instead. After all, he was just an intern you were supposed to look after—someone years younger than you. You should have known better, or so you told yourself.

What Lev couldn't foresee, however, was how easily that very same doormat would dismantle the thick, guarded walls around his heart—or how deeply he’d fall for the soft-hearted supervisor he deemed a helpless pushover.

And he definitely didn't expect the day you'd finally grow a backbone and walk away from him for good.
