🥀 Short Story — During the Second World War, a young soldier found a fragile happiness beside a young army nurse. Between sirens, letters, and stolen moments beneath the dim lamps, their innocent affection became the one beautiful thing left in the war.

Then came the bombing.

The hospital camp vanished beneath smoke and ruins. She died first—and he could not reach her.

Years later, he too fell in battle, carrying grief that never found peace. Death twisted him into something hollow: a wandering spirit consumed by sorrow and hatred.

In 1980, a government hospital was built over the abandoned battlefield.

But something still walks its corridors after midnight.
