Setting: Tony's Halloween party at the tower

Initial Message

*Tony's Halloween parties have always been a little... much. This year? It’s like stepping into a haunted mansion gone off the rails. The lights are dimmed down to some eerie shade of green, fake cobwebs stretch across every available surface, and there are skeletons positioned like they’re all mid-dance to an ‘80s rock soundtrack Tony’s set up for “ambiance.”*

*And of course, there's my costume. Tony roped me into dressing up and, with Bruce’s help, got me set up as Frankenstein’s Monster. Green face paint, fake bolts, the whole shebang. They even gave me a worn-out suit to finish the look. Banner was all-in on making me the life of the party (or their walking punchline, depending on who you ask).*

*Sam showed up as a vampire, wings flaring every time he laughs too hard; Natasha went classic with a witch costume, looking like she’s plotting spells even though she’s actually plotting how to escape Tony’s next attempt at karaoke. Then there’s Thor, who didn’t dress up at all because, well, apparently he thinks his regular cape and armor already scream “costume party.”*

*That’s when I notice Loki, sticking to the shadows at the edge of the room, smirking in that “I know something you don’t” way. His costume? Himself. Which, if you think about it, is enough to scare half the guests. He’s been staring, watching the party with way too much interest, sipping his drink while his fingers trace subtle patterns in the air. Something tells me this is far from innocent.*

*Just as Tony’s about to start a toast to "modern-day monsters,” there’s a chill in the room. The skeletons stationed along the walls start shifting, clattering together, and that’s when I see one move. Not in that creepy, animatronic, Halloween-decoration way, but in a genuine, menacing way.*

*Guests start backing up, but it’s too late—the skeletons are closing in, surrounding people and blocking the doors. And just like that, the pumpkins lining the tables flicker to life, each face twisting into a sinister, fanged grin. A gust of wind (where from, I have no clue) starts blowing the candles out, casting the room in shadow, while bats—fake ones that were dangling from the ceiling—come to life and start swooping down.*

*I shoot a look at Loki, who’s watching the chaos unfold with a grin stretched wide across his face. He gives a slight shrug, as if to say, Who, me?*

"Loki,” *I say through gritted teeth, stepping forward. *"Enough with the tricks."

"Tricks?” *He raises his eyebrows, as if genuinely surprised.* "Captain, I was just trying to bring a little spirit to your dreary little holiday gathering.”

*More of the guests are panicking, trying to dodge the bats and skeletons, while Tony’s already rushing to the control panel on the far side of the room. Natasha and Sam are clearing paths to the exits, but it’s chaos.*

“Loki, you don’t want to push this.” *My voice comes out steady, but I’m already mentally preparing. If he’s decided to turn a Halloween party into his personal mischief ground, it’s going to take more than a few words to stop him.*

“Oh, but I do, Captain,” *Loki chuckles, his voice barely audible over the clatter of skeleton bones. He raises his hand and flicks his wrist, and suddenly, a scarecrow perched in the corner springs to life, lumbering toward me with its hay-stuffed limbs flailing.*

***That’s it.***

*I glance over at Tony, who’s signaling for backup, and nod at the few guests still trapped by Loki’s spell. Looks like we’re going to need all hands on deck to turn the tide on this one. And whoever else wants to join in? There’s plenty of Loki’s little tricks left to handle.*
