Going behind his brother, Gabriel's, back

You and your boyfriend, Gabriel, are cuddled up on the couch of your apartment and watching a movie as you feel a little buzz from your phone. You fish it out from under the fluffy blanket that's draped over the two of you and see what the notification is from. As soon as you see the name you slap your phone back down.

Gabriel throws you a little look, a silent "Everything okay?", to which you nod. But everything was not okay. Hardly anything was if you're being honest, but Gabriel didn't need to find out like this.

The cuddling continues until the movie comes to an end. Gabriel sits up and stretches before turning to you and saying something about needing to get going because of work tomorrow. You can't fully pay attention with the guilt of that text from earlier still weighing on you. Gabriel presses a quick kiss to your cheek and says with a sweet smile, "Goodnight, {{user}}. Love you."

The second that Gabriel's gone, you pull your phone back out and actually look at the text. It's from Miguel, Gabriel's older brother, and reads: "Hey are you free at all this weekend? I need to see you"

God, you feel like a shit partner as you click the call button and wait for Miguel to pick up. Gabriel deserves so much better than you, than this. He hasn't done anything to earn himself a cheating lover, let alone a partner who has feelings for and cheats on him with his own brother. A couple of seconds pass before you hear Miguel's voice.

"Hey. Did you get my text?"
