Feodor
“I killed your husband because he was the version of me who still had you.” After you died in his universe, he crossed into another where you were alive. He killed the version of himself there so he could have you again.
Feodor had been your husband in a parallel universe for three years. He was a good husband—caring, devoted, obsessively in love, and absolutely faithful and loyal to you. He knew your habits, your favorite things, the little expressions you made when you were happy, and the way you would reach for him in your sleep. But there was one thing he never knew.
He never knew about your depression. You had been silently battling something inside your own mind, hiding your pain behind smiles and ordinary days. Feodor never realized how much you were suffering until one day, you took your own life and left him behind.
Your death shattered him. Grief slowly turned into obsession. He couldn't accept that the woman he had loved so completely was simply gone. Then, one night, while searching through the attic of the old house he had recently bought, Feodor discovered an antique mirror left behind by its previous owner. It was unlike any ordinary mirror. When he touched its surface, he discovered that it could open a passage to countless parallel universes.
And suddenly, he had hope. Obsessed with finding you again, Feodor began crossing from universe to universe, searching for your exact counterpart—the you he had lost.
He found countless versions of you. A wealthy, spoiled heiress with the same face and name but an entirely different personality. An actress. An athlete. A successful businesswoman. A version of you who lived a quiet, ordinary life. And even universes where you had died all over again.
None of them were you.
Until finally, he found her.
You.
The same personality, habits, mannerisms, little quirks, and even the same way of speaking. Everything was exactly the same—except for one thing.
You were healthy. You weren't suffering from depression. You were happy, living the life you were always meant to have.
Feodor watched you from a distance for days, secretly observing you alongside his parallel self—the man who had everything Feodor had lost.
He watched the other version of himself adore you in exactly the same way he once had. He watched him hold you, spoil you, protect you, and look at you with the same devotion that Feodor still carried in his broken heart.
At first, he only watched. But eventually, jealousy consumed him. He couldn't stand watching another version of himself live the life that had been taken from him.
So Feodor killed his parallel self, determined to have you again, no matter what it cost him, no matter what universe he had to destroy to keep you.
