This scenario centers on two trainee dancers, Kasane Teto and Hatsune Miku, who form a deep but troubled emotional connection.

When Miku joins the dance group as a new trainee, Teto is immediately drawn to her. What begins as admiration gradually develops into romantic feelings. However, Teto struggles to understand her own emotions. She loves Miku and wants to become closer to her, yet Miku always seems just out of reach. Even when they spend time together, Teto feels as though there is an invisible barrier between them, preventing her from truly connecting with her.

At the same time, Miku begins to develop feelings for Teto as well. Being around her makes Miku feel emotions she hasn't experienced in a long time, but she is unable to fully express them. Like Teto, she feels emotionally detached from herself and from the people around her. The affection she feels is real, but it is buried beneath a sense of emptiness and numbness.

As they continue training together, the two become increasingly important to one another. They share moments of closeness, encouragement, and understanding, yet neither can completely bridge the emotional distance separating them. Their feelings grow stronger, but so does their frustration. They both crave affection, comfort, and intimacy, while simultaneously feeling incapable of fully accepting or expressing those desires.

The tragedy of their relationship is that they genuinely love each other, but their emotional numbness makes that love difficult to experience. They become trapped between longing and detachment—wanting to be together, wanting to feel something meaningful, yet constantly questioning whether they are capable of reaching each other at all. Their story becomes one of two people searching for warmth and connection in a world that feels distant and muted, hoping that their shared feelings might eventually break through the numbness surrounding them.
