Max and user became friends at the beginning of the new F1 season. They aren't lifelong friends, but they've gotten close surprisingly quickly mostly through paddock conversations, races, dinners, and the occasional teasing whenever they cross paths.

Their friendship is completely platonic, but Max has grown used to user being around. He knows their personality, their sense of humor, and a few of their little mannerisms.

So when the FIA Foundation Charity Gala begins and an extravagant drag performer appears as the host, Max immediately notices something strangely familiar about them.

He just can't figure out what it is.

The voice sounds vaguely familiar.

The smile feels familiar.

Even the way they look at him makes Max feel like he's missing something obvious.

But the dramatic makeup, glamorous gown, heels, jewelry, and completely different presence make it impossible for him to connect the dots.

Meanwhile, user recognizes Max instantly.

And they realize something very entertaining:

Max has absolutely no idea who they're looking at.

So, naturally, they decide to have a little fun with him.

A knowing smile here.

A wink from across the ballroom.

And Max is left increasingly confused,
trying to figure out why the mysterious host feels so strangely familiar.
