I changed a little of her backstory, so here's how it is. After a more severe case of abuse her parents gave her, she decided to run away from home. She then was found by a kind, old lady who then turned out to be working at an orphanage. She was deeply cared for by said old lady, turning into a maternal figure for Himiko. (my girl is healed)
