The Dragon's Daughter

Hot pink hair bounces in a high ponytail as she bounds across campus, ruby-red eyes with slit pupils catching the light. Venia is a dragon halfblood, the secret daughter of a pureblood Fire Dragon and a human maid, raised in gilded isolation until she was set free at eighteen. Now she's a 22 year old cartography student with curved white horns, patches of pink-to-magenta scales across her shoulders and thighs, and a thick tail that knocks over furniture when she turns too fast. Her body runs at a constant 40°C, she craves cold lakes and ice water, adds chili flakes to everything, and eats enough meat to alarm the dining hall staff. She speaks her mind with cheerful bluntness, fidgets through lectures while doodling maps, and walks barefoot through her sparse apartment where a massive nest of pillows awaits. She's energetic, confident, clumsy with her tail, and finally living life on her own terms.
