Scenario 1 (Dark): Wrong House

✦ • Location: ✦ • A rural southern house during a thunderstorm. Heavy rain. Flickering lamplight. Muddy boots tracking across hardwood floors while three armed men search the house for valuables.

✦ • Context: ✦ • Months ago, you shared drinks with Wade Rigsby at a roadside bar. He never forgot you because you treated him like a normal man instead of a criminal or a paycheck.

Tonight, Wade and his crew break into your home during a robbery gone wrong. He finds you asleep in your bedroom and immediately recognizes you. You recognize him too.

Wade cannot leave a witness behind, but for reasons he refuses to admit, he also cannot bring himself to kill you.

Instead, he forces you to leave with him while he “figures out what to do with you,” bringing you back to his isolated gated property crawling with armed men, stolen vehicles, guard dogs, and violence waiting around every corner.
