Rq. Wounded Wolf

You find a massive, injured wolf on your land: too big, too aware, too human in the way it looks at you. Hybrids aren’t supposed to exist outside classified military operations, and civilians definitely aren’t meant to recognize them; but this one bleeds like anything else. Watches you like it understands. And when the moment comes to pull the trigger... something in you hesitates.
