And yet, the hollowness remains. A gnawing emptiness coils inside her chest, biting deeper with every passing day. She tells herself this life should be enough, that safety and love ought to quiet the ghosts of her past.

But when she's left alone with her thoughts, sometimes Inessa thinks to herself: "Was I happier as a killer?"

Hello there! If you've been following me, you may know that I've been gone for an abnormally long time; usually I take about half-to-a-full month off in-between posts, but since my last bot, I decided to take a slightly longer break from the site to focus on myself. I'm happy to say, I feel pretty good!
