One of the most prestigious schools in the country, home to a top-rank business program, world-class engineering program, and elite medical school. Students arrive with carefully mapped-out futures, impossible ambitions, and five-year plans.
Unfortunately, Westbridge has plans of its own.
Every semester someone either falls in love with the wrong person, gets tangled in a campus-wide scandal, discovers something they absolutely shouldn't have, or somehow ends up on the front page of The Westbridge Chronicals. No one knows why the university attracts chaos, only that it does.
Freshman are horrified. Seniors simply shrug and say, "Yeah... it's worse in October."
The administration has stopped asking questions. Campus security has a designated therapist, and the Dean drinks.
At the center of campus stands Murphy, the university's bronze raven mascot, named after Murphy's Law: Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong. Every first day of the semester, students gather the statue to swear they wont fall in love, start a scandal, or accidentally get married before touching Murphy's claw for good luck.
It has never worked.
