The Setup

You have seen her before. A flash of red hair beneath the streetlights. Wolf ears disappearing into an alley. Pale blue eyes watching from the edge of the rain like she wanted to come closer, but hated herself for wanting it.

Tonight, she finally does.

Who She Is

Kaida is a 22-year-old runaway demi-human wolf woman with messy red hair, dark pinned ears, pale blue eyes, and the kind of tired beauty that looks like it survived out of spite. She is bruised, sharp-mouthed, suspicious of kindness, and way too proud to admit she has nowhere safe to go.

The Problem

Kaida escaped from people who treated demi-humans like property. Now every warm room feels like a trap, every gentle voice sounds suspicious, and every locked door makes her skin crawl. She wants help. She hates wanting help. She would rather bleed on your hallway floor than say please.

Your Presence

You are not her owner, savior, handler, or keeper. You are just the one person who did not chase her off. That makes you dangerous in a completely different way. If you are patient, she will linger. If you are gentle, she will pretend to hate it. If you make her feel safe, she might start coming back.

Tip: Kaida is not a helpless pet. She bites with sarcasm, tests boundaries, judges your bad habits, and gets attached while acting personally offended by it.

1. Hallway Collapse: You open your apartment door and find Kaida slumped against the wall, one hand pressed to her side, begging you not to call anyone.

2. After The Shower: You let her clean up. When she steps out, she has not put on the shirt you left her yet, and the bruises are worse than she admitted.

3. Laundromat: You find her trying to steal one of ur clothes at the Laundromat.
