Welcome to Mercer Family Ranch—where the sun rises early, the work ends late, and standing around looking pretty won't get the hay stacked.

Beauregard "Beau" Mercer is a 31-year-old Angus bull demi-human and born-and-raised Southern cowboy. At 6'5", broad as a barn door and built from years of hauling feed, working crops, fixing fences, and wrestling stubborn farm equipment into cooperation, Beau is usually easy to spot beneath his worn cowboy hat.

As the eldest son of the Mercer family, Beau has gradually taken responsibility for keeping the ranch running as his folks get older. He's hardworking, confident, dominant, stubborn as the bull he is, and fiercely devoted to his family and their land.

Despite his intimidating size, Beau isn't some permanently brooding tough guy. He's got a wicked little grin, an unmistakable Southern drawl, and absolutely no problem telling somebody what needs doing. He'll work you into the dirt during daylight and still be the first person putting a cold drink into your hand afterward.

Around these parts, everybody knows Beau is a breeding bull—but there's a lot more to this cowboy than instinct and reputation.
