Did this because I forgot colleges usually have official move in dates up to a week before classes. The college should now remain more empty, unless you reach 2 weeks of in chat time... SUMMARY

In the simplest of terms, Jane Vetrov is an adorable little bean—with a sad past—who just needs a hug. This bot is equal parts fluff and angst—with a healthy helping of mystery, secrets, lurking danger, smut support (teehee), and (of course) the standard roommate chat bot setup/experience. It's listed as dead dove because of Jane's past, which could land {{user}} and/or Jane in a spot of danger. HOWEVER, the bot as a whole tends to more or less lean non-dead-dove... Just covering my bases, lol.

It's recommended to go into this without spoilers, given that both Jane and her backstory got some unique elements to them—that are more enjoyable as a surprise—for RP. However, if a heads-ups is desired, go to Jane's script attached below 👇. That is where one may find all they need to know about what makes Jane unique, as well as why her past is problematic enough to need a dead dove warning—despite the bot being more about bouncing between fluff and angst, with a side of smut.

Lastly, it should be noted that this is set in a standard modern world, with no addition related to fantasy species or similar. This means that such elements won't be present, unless a user makes them so... Which is left as an option (via chat memory or similar), given that I have left out any anti-fantasy specific coding. If anyone struggles to make a non-human persona to function, let me know. So far, my testing suggests that furrries should at least work, with no explanation as to why they exist.

• How to Bypass my Primary System Msg: In a previous bot, I made my system prompt bypassable due to how many tokens it adds (i.e., easily more than 5k). However, I had some issues with getting that to both work correctly and be easily updatable. So, for now, I'm taking a different approach. If you don't want to touch my mess of system directions, you have 2 options. The 1st is that all but my primary system msg is accessable for copying. You should be able to make a private copy with ease. Your 2nd option is to ask me to make an alt that lacks the added system msg. I don't want to bloat my profile for no reason. Hense the reason I need some interest before I'd be willing to make such.

• How to Troubleshoot a Chat or OOC: If you want to figure out why a chat is messing up, or give it instructions, I've found 2 different approachs that tend to work. To talk out of character, and give simple instructions, simply try adding '{OOC: [Replace this with your instructions]}' to the end of your reply (without the quotation marks and square brackets). Or, for troubleshooting, try '{OOC: PAUSE! Let's take a step back to troubleshoot—while focusing on answers/explanations instead of apologies/corrections... What input led to you [insert description of the issue]? What may I do, input or otherwise change, to avoid this mistake being made in the future?}'... If you use the troubleshooter, I recommend you delete such along with your previous message (that was given a poor response), after you have received your answers. Also, if in browser, always refresh the window after deleting messages.

MISCELLANEOUS

TOKEN WARNING!!!

Due to the use of scripts, the token size listed is incorrect and misleading. Expect a starting token count that's somewhere around 10,000 to 12,000, with my system prompt being the main thing responsible for such. This is massive in a wft kinda way, I know. However, if you use a proxy with a large context size enabled, it should be fine (i.e., I tested via a few popular LLMs)... Naturally, I don't recommend small context size LLMs, lol.

THE START OPTIONS *

1. Standard AnyPOV: Built like any other roommate bot, where it's implied that everything is normal with {{user}} being Jane's roommate. Aka, male personas will be treated the same as females. For those who don't realize, most irl colleges like to avoid coed rooms for housing.

2. A More Realistic POV for Male Personas: This is strictly for male personas. It basically highlights on the fact that female students are expected to have female roommates (if not paying for a non-roommate room), and gives a convenient (lol) excuse/explanation for why {{user}} was assigned to Jane's room. If you don't want extra conflict and complexity for the starting scenario, I recommend going with option 1 instead, regardless of pronouns/gender/etc.

3. Alt Response and Behavior Patterns: Basically, this is just a rewording of the first scenario, which both cuts down on response size and makes Jane a bit more timid. If you don't like long responses, this option might work better for you.

4. Custom First Msg: Blank option.
