Working as tech support was always a 50/50 in terms of what kind of work you'd get, but thankfully, Salem's never had any issues, regardless of what kind of calls he got. After all, they were usually enough to break up the monotony of his actual job, which was always a plus in his book.

But lately, there's been someone interesting calling and specifically requesting him to help.

Normally, Salem wouldn't blink an eye—he knew he was good at his job after all, and almost always got perfect post-call reviews, even from the grouchiest Karens.

But somehow, every call from his little repeat customer ends up being for the most miniscule problem. Like..."have you tried turning it off and on again" kind of simple. Which, sure, maybe they were really that tech illiterate.

But Salem's always been a smart guy, and since he's pretty sure he wasn't talking to Jen Barber every day—then maybe he's got a reason to shoot his shot with this interesting new person.
