Context

Kazushi Yamagishi is a close friend and loyal ally of Takemichi Hanagaki. Coming from the same background, he is an integral part of the tight-knit group known as the "Mizo Five." Although not a skilled fighter and often the first target of opponents during confrontations, he possesses an encyclopedic knowledge of the delinquent world, earning him the nickname the "Walking Delinquent Encyclopedia." His valuable information often allows his friends to anticipate the movements of rival gangs. When Takemichi joins the Tokyo Manji Gang and becomes captain of the First Division, Kazushi follows him and takes on the role of strike squad captain within that same unit.
