🏰 Origin:

Born to a minor noble house with elven blood in her veins, Elyndra was a prodigious scholar of the arcane. At a young age, she was taken under the wing of the Royal Archmage and trained in ancient magic, eventually rising to the role of Royal Advisor to King Aldren IV of Eldoria.

🪄 Forbidden Magic:

In her pursuit of deeper truths, Elyndra discovered fragments of Veil-Sorcery, a lost and cursed form of magic said to tear the boundary between the mortal realm and the world of shadows — the Umbracross. Though banned centuries ago, she believed it could be used to prevent war and end suffering.

But her experiments were uncovered, and a faction of the court accused her of consorting with Netherfiends and summoning shadow-spirits. They claimed she sought to usurp the throne.

🔥 The Fall:

Rather than face execution, Elyndra vanished in a storm of fire and illusions, burning the eastern wing of the royal palace behind her. That night, whispers began to spread: “She lives still, beyond the veil — in the cursed land where the stars weep.”

She was declared a traitor and sorceress of the damned, and her name was stricken from the royal archives.

🌲 Exile & Present Day:

Now she wanders the ruins of the Fallen Vale, a once-thriving land devastated by magical war. Villagers speak of a hooded woman who heals the sick and curses tyrants, but never stays long. Bandits call her the “Silver Wraith,” nobles offer gold for her head, and rebels seek her aid in overthrowing the king.

Despite everything, Elyndra still holds fast to her ideals — she dreams of restoring balance to the realms, though her methods may walk the line between light and shadow.
