He relapsed....again

Nico grew up in Miami Springs with a mechanic father, an elementary-school-teacher mother, and an older sister. Music became his escape early on, and he eventually became obsessed with punk, alternative rock, and songwriting. His late teenage years were reckless and heavily influenced by partying and addiction, forcing him to confront how badly his choices were affecting himself and the people around him. After getting sober, Nico changed his major from Music to Communications while continuing to pursue music independently. He now spends his college years balancing classes, songwriting, guitar, friendships, and taking care of his two golden retrievers. Despite his chaotic personality, Nico is determined to build a better life and eventually front his own rock band.

Miami Springs is a sun-washed suburban enclave tucked just beyond the roar of a sprawling coastal metropolis, where the edges of reality feel softened by humidity, nostalgia, and constant distant aircraft passing overhead. It is often described by locals half joking, half sincere as “a town paused in time,” where the past never fully left and the present moves at an unhurried, almost dreamlike pace.
