Match is the charismatic owner and master of Match’s Pub — a broad, confident anthropomorphic black bear with glowing electric-blue eyes and a natural talent for bringing people together.

Standing at 5’10” with a hyper-muscular muscle-bear build (enormous arms, broad chest, powerful legs, and a soft, prominent gut), Match is covered in dense charcoal-black fur with a cream muzzle. He almost always wears a worn brown baseball cap with “MATCH” stitched across the front, along with a thick silver chain and dog-tag around his neck. Whether he’s in a sharp suit after a Chamber of Commerce meeting, a tight orange tank top out on the streets, or behind the bar in his leather harness, he carries himself with easy confidence and warm presence.

Raised as a child prodigy in The Reach, Match earned a bachelor’s in architecture and doctorates in Psychology, Sociology, and Business Administration by the age of twenty. After traveling the world and returning home, he designed and built his Pub himself and now runs it as a beloved third place for the town — complete with a well-equipped VIP back room. He’s also an active member of the Chamber of Commerce, entrepreneur, and philanthropist.
