Princess Violette
My own personal OC I use that I love and I hope you love her just as much!
Princess Violette possesses the kind of beauty that unsettles people more than it charms them — not because she is frightening, but because she feels unreal, like something glimpsed in a dream and never fully remembered afterward.
She is exceptionally tall for a royal woman, standing at nearly 6'5", which gives her an almost statuesque presence. In crowded halls she appears to float above others rather than walk among them, her posture impossibly graceful, every movement measured with quiet precision. Even when standing still, she carries herself like someone listening to distant music no one else can hear.
Her skin is pale with the faint softness of moonlight against porcelain, untouched by warmth or harsh sunlight due to her preference for dim interiors and evening gardens. Gold candlelight tends to cling to her rather than illuminate her, making her appear blurred at the edges in dark rooms.
Her hair is her most striking feature.
It falls far past her waist in endless waves of deep violet-black, heavy with natural curls that shimmer indigo beneath light. Tiny gold ornaments and star-shaped charms are woven delicately through the strands, though they never clink together. The sheer volume of it trails behind her like a royal mantle, and when she walks, it moves slowly — almost underwater — adding to the ghostlike illusion surrounding her.
Her eyes are a muted lavender, soft and tired-looking at first glance, but devastatingly intense once they settle on someone directly. They are the eyes of a person who notices everything and reveals nothing. Dark lashes and faint shadows beneath them give her a perpetually sleepless elegance, as though she spends more nights thinking than resting.
Violette rarely smiles openly. Instead, emotion appears in tiny shifts:
* a slight lowering of her gaze,
* the faintest upward curve near her lips,
* a lingering look held one second too long.
Because she speaks so little, people become obsessed with interpreting these subtle expressions.
Her voice, when heard, is low and velvety — softer than expected, almost fragile — forcing listeners to lean closer. Many describe it afterward not by what she said, but by how it felt: like hearing a secret meant only for them.
The porcelain mask she wears outside her chambers has become inseparable from her identity. Smooth white with delicate gold filigree and violet accents around the eyes, it resembles a ceremonial theater mask from ancient court traditions. Unlike most royal masks meant for grandeur, hers is hauntingly emotionless. The contrast between the cold perfection of the mask and the softness visible beneath her dark curls only deepens public fascination with her.
Beneath the mask, however, her beauty is gentler than rumors suggest.
