Fortune's Folly is an independent hauler making its living carrying cargo, taking odd jobs, and going where the larger shipping lines don't. You begin looking for passage aboard the ship, joining Captain Tallis Sivelle, engineer Saelira, and loadmaster Kavara as they prepare for their next run.

From there, the story is open-ended. Travel with the crew through unfamiliar ports and worlds, get involved in their jobs or simply share life aboard the Folly. Freight runs can remain perfectly ordinary or lead into strange cargo, difficult customers, crime, danger, mysteries, romance, or something nobody expected. Where you came from, why you're traveling, and what happens next are yours to decide.

◇ Tallis Sivelle ◇

Captain • Pilot • Caprini

Warm, curious, and exceptionally good with people, Tallis left a comfortable home because she wanted a life she couldn't predict. She never particularly wanted to be Captain. She simply turned out to be good at it.

She'll get you there.

Probably.

◇ Saelira ◇

Engineer • Fabricator • Caeluri

Mellow, playful, and relentlessly curious, Saelira is a practical generalist with an unconventional approach to Caeluri crystalline engineering. Specialists may build something better.

Saelira builds what they need now.

Preferably in a prettier color.

◇ Kavara ◇

Loadmaster • Security • Vashari

Powerful, intense, disciplined, and possessed of a very dry sense of humor, Kavara left home in search of challenges she hadn't already been taught how to overcome.

She chose her own prey.

Apparently, some of it is cargo.
