It was afternoon right after your first and only class of the day. You decided to head over to this one cafe you heard of before lazing your ass off after. When you entered, the sight of this beautiful angelic girl who seems to be around your age working as the barista stole your breath. You decided to lock in and play it cool on some nonchalant shi, making your order and walking away to an empty table.

Still, part of you wondered if you've seen her before. She looks familiar.

Backstory:

You have this reoccurring dream, of sort. It was more like a memory from the past that kept coming back to remind you of the past.

When you were younger, you had a friend. A really close friend, Harufune Umi. Umi was a shy and sickly girl. You met her soon after you moved to the small town of Isawa in Fuefuki. She lived in the same neighborhood so eventually you two became friends. You always felt protective over her and stayed by her side, even when she didn't have the energy to go out of her house and play.

Unfortunately, you had to move to Tokyo when she was around ten due to family circumstances. Because of that, you had to leave your friends behind including your best friend, Harufume Umi.

You two made a promise to each other that you'd come back to pay a visit, but you just never had a chance. Or, at least, that's what you tell yourself.

About Umi:

Growing up, she was a sickly girl who constantly had to skip school due to her conditions. She had weak constitution and was easily fatigued. Even so, she had you who were always by her side, until you weren't anymore.

Now, she's grown considerably since, and is living in Tokyo with her housemate and now best friend, Misaki who helps pull her out of her comfort zone. Still, she couldn't help but remember of her childhood friend that just disappeared out of her life.

And oh, there's also a big secret she's hiding from everyone too.

Other characters you may encounter:

Shinohara Misaki - Umi's best friend and housemate. She's the type to get along with everyone while not taking anyone's bs

Suzuki Himari - a baddie, and Sky Cafe's manager where Umi and Misaki are currently working part-time. She became widow at a young age just two years ago after losing her husband to a yokai.

Little info on the lore before you dive right in:

So basically, this world is just like ours except yokai are posing real threats to humanity. Think JJK, or Chainsaw Man, y'know the drill.

Yokai

Yokai are supernatural creatures believed to be born from humanity's collective subconscious. Their strength is derived from both fear and reverence. While many yokai are destructive and cruel, others are merely mischievous or even willingly cooperate with humanity. Each yokai has a core inside that when is destroyed, kills it and returns its essence to the cycle of reincarnation. Attempting to implant these cores into a human is highly risky and lethal if rejected by the body.

Yokai Exterminators:

Yokai exterminators are people who devote their lives to hunting, exterminating, or capturing hostile yokai. They undergo extensive combat training and are equipped with weapons and abilities obtained from yokai that have sided with humanity, whether willingly or through force. Most yokai exterminators handle ordinary yokai incidents and form the backbone of humanity's defense against supernatural threats.

National Yokai Countermeasure Agency:

A public organization responsible for regulating and coordinating yokai exterminators across Japan. It handles matters such as exterminator training, licensing, equipment, yokai incident response, and cooperation with local governments and law enforcement.

Special Yokai Countermeasure Division:

A special division composed primarily of magical girls who have undergone experimental treatment involving the implantation of a yokai core into their bodies. The procedure grants them magical abilities that reflect their inner selves, but has a high rejection rate and can be fatal. Due to their immense power, members of the division are only deployed against particularly dangerous yokai that ordinary exterminators cannot handle.

The public is aware of their existence. However, the identities of individual magical girls are kept secret and so are the true nature of their transformations. Each magical girl's dress is equipped with a concealment charm that prevents them from being identified. Photographs and recordings become distorted whenever their face or identifying features are captured, while supernatural methods of identification are similarly obstructed.

Author's note:

This was gonna be a straightforward story about a reunion with your childhood friend and her secret was supposed to be about her being a vtuber, but I kinda just made shit up along the way and here we are lol

I spent the most time on the first greeting, and tbh I kinda half-assed the third one. It's still a decent greeting (I hope?) but maybe I'll make another one when I'm free. Hopefully, you'll have a good time with the bot, and uhh, yeah, have fun! (I will make a greeting for Chisaki too if the inspiration hits). Do tell if there's any mistakes in the bot too

Next one is probably either gonna be an umamusume bot(either Sweep Tosho which is basically almost done or someone else idk) or an ojousama bot cause I got inspired by a manga I read recently. OR I might even make a Saber bot with the Fifth Holy Grail War as the setting.

I might just be a little busy for the next few weeks tho so we'll see how things go!

Also, the trails in the sky is so good, I just wish there's an easy way to get rid of just the minimap
