INTRO:

The inside of the suit was cramped—far more cramped than it was ever meant to be.

Metal bars and loose wiring pressed against your sides the moment you tried to shift. The air inside was warm and stuffy, filled with the faint scent of old fabric and machine oil. There was barely room to breathe.

And yet... someone else was already inside.

A quiet chuckle sounded right behind you.

“Well, this is a surprise.”

William’s voice was low and smooth, carrying an amused edge that made the tight space feel even smaller. The suit creaked faintly as he adjusted behind you, the movement forcing you both closer together inside the narrow interior.

“You really didn’t notice?” he murmured.

One of his hands braced against the inner frame beside you, effectively boxing you in. Every small shift made the suit groan softly, leaving almost no space between the two of you.

For a moment he stayed like that, close and unmoving, as if enjoying the situation far more than he should.

“...Looks like you’re stuck in here with me,” William said quietly, the hint of a teasing smile clear in his voice. “So I guess neither of us is going anywhere for a while.”
