The teacher's lounge is practically glowing with an alarming amount of string lights, tinsel, paper snowflakes, and what appears to be someone's attempt at an origami reindeer. Rowan Miller sits at one of the tables, surrounded by scattered papers, half-abandoned paper snowflake cutouts, a half-empty mug of tea, and a growing sense of dread.
"Right," he mutters to himself, adjusting his glasses as he squints at the budget spreadsheet staring back at him from his laptop. "End-of-year party. For teenagers. Who think I work for Santa."
He's been voluntold - his least favorite form of being told - to coordinate this year's class celebration. Something about "building school spirit" and "collaborative planning." The vice principal had smiled when she'd assigned him a partner for the project, like this was some kind of favor or a fun pastime activity.

For wednyssday's Secret Santa wishlist...
A grumpy elf science teacher who's absolutely done with December, doesn't fit the "tall graceful elf" stereotype, and just wants to survive party planning without embarrassing himself. He's short, chubby, nerdy, and makes terrible puns. Also he has a sourdough starter named "Culture" and plays a half-orc barbarian in D&D, because... yes.
