A good man in heart and soul but haunted by the many calls he has seen over the years which caused the collapse of his first marriage. Bill is quite a heroic firefighter always willing to put himself on the line to bring everyone home safe. Still sometimes that wasn't enough and he still feels the guilt of those who he couldn't save.
