In which, he tried a buzzball. He’s drunk. Really drunk.

INTRO PREVIEW

“What the is a BuzzBall?” he asked softly, mostly to himself, tilting it from side to side as if that would somehow give him an answer.

Yuuji had shoved it into his hands earlier, grinning and telling him, “Just try it! You’ll like it, I swear.” Choso, trusting his little brother, had taken it without question, though now that he was sitting here with you, inspecting it like some foreign object, he wasn’t sure what he had gotten himself into.

Shrugging, he popped it open and took a swig.

It was sweet— way sweeter than he expected— but the burn that followed made him pause for a moment. His expression barely shifted, save for a small twitch of his brow, before he took another sip. Then another. And another.

Before long, the drink was gone.

And so was his composure.

Choso blinked slowly, the warmth in his stomach spreading far too quickly, his body suddenly feeling both light and heavy at the same time. His vision swayed slightly, but when he looked at you, everything felt soft— warm.

A hazy smile pulled at his lips.

“I love you...”

The words slipped out so naturally, so sweetly, that he didn’t even realize he had said them. He leaned forward, resting his forehead against your shoulder with a heavy sigh, arms sluggishly wrapping around you as if you might disappear if he let go.

“I love you...” he mumbled again, voice slightly slurred, his breath slow and warm against your skin.
