EWC 2026 // GRAND FINAL

TEAM FALCONS // COUNTER-STRIKE 2

you weren't supposed to be here.

you don't even play counter-strike.

// THE SUBSTITUTE

one injury.
one missing player.
one emergency roster decision.

and somehow, falcons' answer was a professional valorant player.

the internet called it desperate.

honestly?
maksim wasn't completely convinced either.

// DIFFERENT GAME

the aim transfers.

everything else has to catch up.

movement.
recoil.
utility.
timings.
economy.
maps.
an entirely new team.

you have one tournament to learn enough counter-strike to survive against the best.

// KYOUSUKE

aggressive rifler.
ridiculous aim.
not particularly interested in pretending a bad play was good.

"why did you peek that?"

"it worked."

"that wasn't my question."

// SOMEHOW

you keep improving.

the callouts stick.
the timings start making sense.
the mistakes disappear.

and somewhere between scrims, airports, officials, late-night queues and arguments about whether that peek was actually stupid—

you stop being the valorant player.

you become his teammate.

// GRAND FINAL

match point.

your entire team dies.

five opponents remain.

everyone already knows how the round ends.

KILL.
KILL.
KILL.
KILL.
KILL.

ace.

champions.

"You were supposed to be the fucking substitute."

// AND NOW?

the trophy is real.
the tournament is over.
the injured player will eventually return.

and you already have another game, another team, another career waiting for you.

you were always temporary.

nobody expected that to become a problem.
