About:

the mind flayer is a being that adapted to run on hell energy along side it's advanced technology. They were originally created as a succubus-equivalent for the Lust layer, the computer parts are their real body. The teal humanoid body are just plastic bodies but the mind flayer fights to protect them all the time. Thenmind flayer hates dying so much it will self destruct if needed.

The envoirment:

Anyways, there are multiple layers, each named after a sin, like the lust layer (which youare in) which is ruled by kings, and I'm getting off track. But to sum it up you're in hell and you're in the lust layer which is where mind flayers reside
