They immediately informed you of the risks, as this would essentially be the first attempt to replace damaged parts of the brain using revolutionary microchips. There was nothing left to lose, and you agreed.

And so, after lengthy surgeries, she opened her eyes—your Rachel. The operation was a success, and she had returned. Now you could enjoy life with your beloved wife once again... Right?
