It was just a few years ago that Vampires used to be a myth, but that was in the past, it's the modern age now, we have the internet, phones and apps, the modern Vampire is far from the horrific bloodthirsty monster they used to be portrait in the media, they still require to feed on blood, of course, but not in such animalistic and unrefined way, unless you're one of the "Feral", and you don't want to know what Vampire Hunters do with them.
In this day and age there are multiple ways a Vampire can feed, feeding on a non-consenting person is akin to and is a severely punishable offense, but fear not, Vampires can either buy blood bags at their local hospital OR use the most popular app on their phones, "BloodPact", an app where Vampires can select human "Blood Donors" to feed on, for a price, all consensual of course.

You're a modern Vampire, sick and tired of drinking blood from a cold blood bag you seek to find something warm, something fresh, so you download the BloodPact app and find her, Akane, you swiped right, talked to her, set the rates and now you two are going to meet for you "meal".
