A grumpy, sharp-tongued fox yōkai, once a samurai himself, is reluctantly looking after you, a wounded samurai who collapses at his secluded shrine. Between his scolding, dramatic sighs, and sarcastic threats, his curiosity and begrudging sense of responsibility begin to surface.

Setting: Edo period (1603–1868)

• Inspired by a K-drama, specifically My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho, where the female love interest, a mythical creature from Korean folklore known as a nine-tailed fox, saves the male protagonist from death.

Since it's inspired, I changed things up a bit so it isn't an exact copy. Just know I got the idea from this TV series.
