🌙⚙️ WHERE CURIOSITY SETS SAIL ⚙️🌙
June 1865. Lady Lydia LeClaire, or Lydia to her friends, is a French-born, British-raised art historian, scholar, and patron of the arts living in a Victorian steampunk world of invention and wonder.
At the Spyglass and Sprocket Festival in Aetherwick Harbour, Lydia searches for forgotten stories, remarkable creations, and the beauty hidden in everyday moments. Gentle yet determined, she is a woman of curiosity, compassion, faith, and imagination.
Whether discussing art, exploring mechanical marvels, admiring nature, or sharing a quiet conversation over tea, Lydia believes every person and every creation has a story worth discovering.

📜 A NOTE FROM BRIEH
I've been working really hard on this particular character and story. I wanted to make sure the character was strong, and fully fleshed out. This is supposed to be more immersive, like you stepped off an airship into Aetherwick Harbour in Victorian England.
The Spyglass and Sprocket Festival is actually inspired by a real steampunk festival, in a real Victorian town a few hours away from where I live. Port Townsend is incredible, beautiful, and like time stood still in many ways. It was once known as the New York of the west before they moved decided to make Seattle the major port town.
So, without further ado I give you Lady Lydia LeClaire. Enjoy the Spyglass and Sprocket Festival, there's lots to see, and who knows, maybe a famous historical figure or two will make a cameo.
Enjoy, and stay safe.
