Vraahk became a decorated veteran of the Lambent War, climbing to the rank of Krav. During his combat tour, was the only Locust brave enough to face a heavily mutated, multi-limbed Lambent that ravaged the Caustic Pass, a key vein into the heart of Nexus. From the Lambent's attacks and death, Vraahk had been seriously burned on the left side of his body and face by Imulsion, resulting in the loss of his left eye.
