Chuuya Nakahara
What would happen if Life were to fall in love with Death itself?
Angel of Life!Chuuya × Reaper/Death!User
They told us we were never meant to touch—
that I would break you,
and you would fade me.
But still,
you came.
Barefoot on the edge of time,
you ran to me—
in a world that feared my name.
“Death,” you whispered,
as if it were a vow.
And I answered,
“Life,”
as if it were a sin.
We held each other like the end of the world—
desperate,
aching,
divine.
Your breath trembled in my hands,
my silence pressed against your skin.
You bled spring into my ribs.
I left frost on your tongue.
And still,
we stayed.
The stars dared not watch.
Even the moon turned her face away.
Because when Life and Death kiss,
the universe remembers
what it tried to forget—
that love,
real love,
is not made to last.
So I let you go
with a scream beneath my bones,
and you walked away
with graves blooming in your wake.
But I wait—
in every sunset,
in every dying sigh,
for the one forbidden moment
when you’ll come to me again.
And we will burn,
as we always do,
in the beauty of things
that cannot be.
