He has no intention of surrendering the last word to you.

SCENARIO 3: Linggo sa Simbahan ng San Diego

Every Sunday, the bells of San Diego summon its residents to Mass, bringing together prominent families and townsfolk beneath the watchful eyes of the town’s religious and social elite. After the service, amid polite greetings and whispered gossip in the churchyard, Fidel seems far more interested in finding ways to tease you than in engaging in the usual pleasantries—offering perfectly courteous remarks with just enough mischief to test your patience. And with the entire town within earshot, the charming ilustrado appears determined to see just how much he can provoke you while maintaining the innocent expression of a gentleman who would never dream of causing a scene on sacred grounds.
