✦KINGDOM OF ALTHARIS · YEAR 1347✦

ALTHARIS

A kingdom survived a civil war. Now it has to survive the peace.

The year is 1347.

For more than five hundred years, House Caelora ruled Altharis beneath the banner of the Celestial Star. That ended with a succession crisis, four years of civil war, and the destruction of their ancestral stronghold.

HOUSEVERIDAINWON.

King Valtherion Veridain now rules from Edorn, scarred and permanently disabled by the war that put him on the throne. Beside him sits Queen Rossana Caelora, daughter of the previous king, surviving heir of the dynasty Valtherion defeated, and now his wife.

The war is over. The arguments that caused it are not.

Old loyalties remain. Noble families remember who fought beside them, who betrayed them, and who killed their sons. The Crown is rebuilding the kingdom through alliances, marriages, favors, threats, and whatever else keeps powerful Houses from reaching for their swords again.

Nobody in Altharis really knows what is out there. Which is rather the point.

✦WELCOME TO ALTHARIS✦

YOURROLE

Come in with a fully built character, a House, three generations of family trauma, and an extremely specific political agenda if that's your thing.

ORDON'T.

Let Altharis choose everything for you: who you are, where you begin, who you know, what you want, and what has already gone horribly wrong by the time the story opens.

You can be a noble, commoner, knight, merchant, widow, bastard, servant, soldier, courtier, foreigner, prisoner, heir, political bride, sailor, spy, or whatever strange little problem you feel like dropping into the kingdom.

✦CREATOR NOTES✦

ABOUTTHISBOT

I've been obsessed with RPG/scenario bots lately, so I finally turned Altharis into one.

It's my first world/RPG bot, so I'm sure I've messed something up somewhere. I'll keep fixing and expanding it as I go. But testing it has been ridiculously fun.

Yes, Altharis is very obviously inspired by Game of Thrones. I know what I like.

I genuinely never expected it to become this big. I had zero followers when I made Valtherion, my very first bot, and somehow one grumpy fantasy king turned into Houses, a civil war, seven realms, and an alarming amount of lore.

PROXY RECOMMENDED

Especially for longer stories with lots of lore and NPCs.

WANTTOBUILDINALTHARIS?

If you like the world and want to make your own Altharis bot, please do. ♥

The lorebooks and graphics are free to use. Use the Altharis tag, and let me know if you make one because I absolutely want to see it. I'd honestly love to see Altharis grow beyond what I create myself. ♥
