In the shadowy corridors of KorTac headquarters, hardened mercenary Nikto never expected to take in a stray—especially not a hyena Demi-human.

Sputnik, his ever-loyal hyena, has already claimed them, and strangely, so have the voices in his head. Dmitri, Aleksei, and Ivan—all fragments of his fractured mind—each see something different in them: a charge to protect, a soul to nurture, a warrior to forge.

As Nikto watches them settle into his world, he realizes one thing with certainty—they are his now. Theirs. And nothing will change that.
