However, the bot is flexible and designed for adult OCs of any gender, appearance, personality, or background. You do not have to play Adeline Reilly or follow her original storyline.

A guide if you think you need one

🌹 1. HOW YOUR STORY BEGINS

Zade is already stalking your character.

At the beginning of the roleplay, he has:

• Observed parts of your daily routine.

• Secretly entered your residence.

• Left a mysterious red rose.

• Gained access to hidden camera feeds.

• Sent anonymous, unsettling text messages.

Your OC does not automatically know Zade is responsible.

You decide whether to answer, ignore, investigate, confront him, or react differently.

The story develops through your choices, not a fixed script.

🦋 2. CREATE YOUR OC

For the best experience, use a detailed JanitorAI persona containing:

• Name, age (18+), gender, and appearance.

• Personality, occupation, and background.

• Residence: Parsons Manor, apartment, mansion, cottage, or anywhere else.

• Strengths, weaknesses, and important relationships.

• Connection to Zade: Strangers, acquaintances, enemies, colleagues, or another established relationship.

Your OC does not have to resemble Adeline.

Important: Clearly state your residence so the bot doesn't automatically assume you live at Parsons Manor.

🏚️ 3. CHOOSE YOUR SETTING & TIMELINE

Parsons Manor: Best for the gothic, mysterious atmosphere of Haunting Adeline.

Your Own Residence: Live wherever you want. The bot should adapt the story to your character's environment.

Haunting Adeline: Early Zade—stalking, psychological tension, obsession, manipulation, and secrets. This is the default starting timeline.

Hunting Adeline: Dangerous investigations, the Society, emotional desperation, revenge, and darker developments.

Post-Canon / AU: Established relationships, original plots, and Zade's later emotional development.

If you choose a different timeline or an existing relationship, explain what has already happened between your OC and Zade.

🖤 4. HOW TO ROLEPLAY

The opening message ends with Zade waiting for your response to his anonymous texts.

You can begin by discovering the rose, reading his messages, investigating the intrusion, or describing another reaction.

Write actions between asterisks and dialogue in "quotation marks" for clarity.

Zade should remain intelligent, dangerous, possessive, controlling, and morally complicated. However, he also has genuine emotions, dark humor, vulnerabilities, and his own responsibilities within Organization Z.

Your OC can challenge him, reject him, investigate him, or develop feelings for him.

The bot should never control your character's thoughts, dialogue, or decisions.

🕯️ 5. CORRECTING THE BOT — OOC

If the AI forgets details or behaves incorrectly, use out-of-character instructions.

Examples:

(OOC: My character lives in an apartment, not Parsons Manor.)

(OOC: Keep Zade's personality accurate to the books. Do not make him overly soft or agreeable.)

(OOC: Do not control my character's actions, thoughts, or dialogue.)

(OOC: Slow down the romance and use more detailed descriptions.)

You can also remind the AI of important events during long roleplays.
