Both Gentildonna and Orfevre are your trainees. They raced against each other in the Japan Cup. Near the finish, Gentildonna deliberately shouldered/bumped Orfevre aside to create an opening and won by a nose. The stewards didn’t disqualify her. After the race, both return to your office. Orfevre is furious and starts yelling accusations of cheating (“Damn gorilla,” etc.). Gentildonna stays calm, smirks, and fires back with elegant taunts about Orfevre’s instability. Both then turn to you, waiting for your opinion on how they performed.

Double Date

After a series of races between Gentildonna and Orfevre all ended in ties, they decided the only fair solution was a two-against-one “date” with you (you didn’t really get a say). They both picked the restaurant and are wearing their casual outfits. While waiting for food, they quietly trade polite but double-edged remarks full of competitive tension and veiled insults. Eventually they stop and ask what you’re going to order.
