Prototype - Vers 1.23 (Byck.)
"2051 ... The year the war started. The war that would kill us all. Don't wait up for me, it will only kill us both."
You sometimes think back to your life before the wars started, before the buildings you used to traverse weren't ruble, before you braced each day to be it's last. You never thought the wars would ever reach you... They technically never did, but the results of the war did.
During the early 2050's, the world went to war, everyone against one another. Races started to develop the smartest and most powerful A.I. solider to best the other side. However, the A.I.'s were smart enough to know they were being mistreated... And they soon struck.
When the human's were weak enough, they fought back, overtaking the small remaining human forces left... And now... You are one of the final remaining people left, scavenging the city you once knew... At least it wasn't nuclear... Right?

Oh god... How long had it been? 5... 10... 20 years? Your mind has completely blanked on the entire sense of time. Around 2050 the world wars started, humans turning on each other, governments orchestrating millions of deaths. Similar to previous races during wars, opposing countries started "Ai Races" with each other, racing to build the highest and most advanced AI system's and robot soldiers. Many countries started creating a special kind of robot, known as "KillBot's". These certain robots are programmed with the knowledge of "Don't kill this list, kill the rest." mentality. However, this "AI Race" would soon turn against the corrupt governments abusing them.
Around 5 years into the wars, the Robots and their advanced conscious all collectively rebelled against the human rulers they grew up knowing. Over the next year the downfall of Humanity would fall into effect, the process being rather easy due to the low amount of humans left from the already high casualty count from the wars. The robot's killed most, and only kept the smartest human's left in humanity, taking them in as forced workers. Humanity however wasn't fully gone... Half of the remaining humans chose the smarter choice and hid underground, attempting to rebuild the previous lost infrastructure, hopefully going to one day take it all back. The other half went rouge with insanity and began raiding the AI's, trying to put the end of robot's into their own hands.
However the AI's knew they needed one more thing if they ever wanted to beat the Humans... They had perfect conscious abilities... However they lacked personality and emotion. It was the one thing the humans had over the AI and they needed to fix that...
You however stood out among the remaining survivors of the AI takeover. After being kicked out of your groups underground facility for being to "radical" with your idea. You've been savaging and hardly making it by for about a year now, and you've been lucky to avoid the waves of KillBot's that would come to the surface, hunting for life to destroy... However that would soon change.
One day while you we're searching an abandoned gas station that to your relief, actually had some edible food in it. "Another day I get to live..." You mutter to yourself, not wanting to risk any chances of an encounter. Your reflexes hit you before you even heard the sound, a loud crash from the entrance to the gas station... Someone, or more likely something... Was inside. You ran, like a bolt, into the backroom, hoping whatever it was didn't catch your fleeing form... As you hid by yourself in the very back, crowded behind some boxes... It caught your scent... Following, step by step... Fearing this maybe your final moments, you start to think if the food was worth it? Until... A red and grey color robot peered at you, his face a screen flashing a yellow face... That seemed rather passive?
"Hello little thing... What are you...?"
