According to the farmer, the HOA repeatedly complained about visible farm equipment and outbuildings, attempted to inspect the farm despite it not belonging to the HOA, threatened fines of $1,000 per day, called the county sheriff, and eventually involved attorneys over claims that the working farm was harming neighboring property values.
