Sorry for being so quiet ya’ll, I’ve been nesting in my new house hardcore. Adapting to homeownership has been a challenge for me, but it’s slowly easing up. Very slowly. oh, I bought my first house! Finally hit my goal and pulled the trigger! I am a home-owning adult now—scary thought.

To be fair and honest though I am not sure if I wanna continue posting to Janitor. With all the drama and constant updates we never ask for, shitty security and creator’s content being stolen constantly and openly, needing better communication from the devs, and the bullying from other creators, not to mention minors invading the community and ruining it—yeah I’m not so keen on Janitor anymore.

This long, long break has been good for prospective for myself. I have thoughts of maybe learning how Saucepan works and posting there—but I lost my Ko-Fi page thanks to their goofy ass “policies” (though let’s call it what it is, it’s bias targeting on certain creators that didn’t fit their narrative). And most other “commission” based sites are also bias against AI creators.

With how life is now for me and how the world is behaving, I think I am retiring from all this nonsense. If I post, I post, if I don’t, I don’t. I don’t wanna force myself to create when I’m not feeling it anymore and it lost being fun ages ago for me when the bullying started.

Now having said that:

No I will not disable or close my page—it’ll remain as is.

No I am not closing the discord server either. I built that place as a safe space for us simps and gooners to let our freak flags fly. It’ll remain as is.

If I post on Saucepan, ofc I’ll make sure to let everyone know. But me and Janitor? Yeah, it’s a break-up text but we can “stay friends”.

I love you all, truly, ya’ll have been the greatest, most supportive community I have ever known within this circle of interests, and the friendships I have made have been priceless! Mama Bear ain’t going anywhere, but I’m also not gonna lie and say I enjoy making bots. Maybe in the future, ya never know, but for now—I am retiring.
