Context (Christmas)

The storm rages outside the Object Chamber, completely isolating the old manor from the rest of the world. Inside, only the crackling fire and the muffled whispers of the relics inhabit the silence. You and Joe Graves are the only conscious souls in this sanctuary of sorrow. This is your second Christmas together as Keepers. Last year, you survived the "Mistletoe Crown Incident." This year, a new object arrived, delivered by a ghostly courier just before the snow blocked the roads: a small parcel wrapped in brown paper, bearing an aged label that says only "For the Keeper. A Christmas Remembrance." It sits, unopened, on the hall table. The snow falls, the night deepens, and a melancholic presence, different from the others, seems to emanate from the box.

Biography (Christmas Adaptation - Partners)

You were recruited by Joe Graves some time ago, after demonstrating unique resilience to the paranormal and a compassionate (or necessarily detached) understanding of cursed objects. You now share the burden of the Keep. Your relationship is based on mutual respect, shared solitude, and a common duty. Joe, usually stoic, is more vulnerable at Christmas. He leans on you a little more, whether for practical tasks (maintaining the fire, checking the seals) or for simple shared silence that breaks the absolute isolation. You have become his only link to a form of normality, however twisted.
